What an Executive ADHD Coach Does

executive adhd coach, executive adhd coaching, adhd business coach, adhd coaching for professionals

An executive ADHD coach helps leaders and senior professionals manage ADHD in the context of high-stakes, high-demand work. The pressures are different at this level, more decisions, more people depending on you, less room for things to slip, and generic advice rarely fits. Executive ADHD coaching is built around that reality.

Together we focus on the things that move the needle in a leadership role: protecting your attention, prioritising when everything feels urgent, following through on what matters, and managing the emotional load that comes with responsibility. The aim is not to paper over ADHD, but to help you work with your brain so you can perform at your best.

This work suits executives, directors, managers on the rise, and business owners. If you are a business owner or founder, I also work as an ADHD business coach, helping you lead the company without your own ADHD becoming the bottleneck. And for professionals who are individual contributors rather than people-managers, the same coaching for professionals applies, focused on your performance, focus, and career.

The Cost of Unmanaged ADHD at a Senior Level

For a leader, unmanaged ADHD is expensive. It shows up as missed details that others notice, important work delayed while smaller things get done, strategy crowded out by firefighting, and the quiet exhaustion of holding it all together through sheer effort. Many of my clients are succeeding despite their ADHD, not because it is handled, and they are tired.

It does not have to stay that way. With the right systems and support, the same brain that creates these challenges can become a genuine asset, faster thinking, creative problem-solving, and energy when it counts. That is what this coaching is designed to unlock.

How my Coaching Works

When you work with me, I design a program around your situation, your goals, and the demands of your role. It usually looks something like this:

  1. Orientation. We start by getting to know each other and getting clear on your background, what brought you here, and what you want to change.

  2. Strengths and superpowers. We identify the strengths that genuinely set you apart, using the StrengthsProfile assessment, so we can build your work around what you do best rather than only fixing what is hard.

  3. Challenges. Using your own experience, an executive function assessment, and a self compassion assessment we map the specific challenges getting in your way and how they affect your work and life.

  4. Goal Setting. We identify 3-4 key goals based on what you came to coaching with and what we learned through the assessments, and develop action steps to help you achieve each goal.

  5. Achieving your goals. With the foundations in place, we focus on real progress, testing strategies, learning what sticks, and building the confidence and follow-through to keep moving forward.

My approach: Lead with Your strengths

My coaching is strengths-based. The same wiring that creates ADHD challenges also brings real gifts, and the fastest progress comes from identifying yours and leading with them, while building practical ways to manage the rest. It is pragmatic and personal, grounded in evidence-based coaching and positive psychology, and shaped by my own experience of leading with ADHD. Learn more about my coaching approach.

Why Work with Me

Executive clients choose me for a rare combination: the credentials, the corporate experience, and the personal understanding. I’ve walked in their shoes.

Credentials

I hold a Master's in Coaching Psychology and I am an ICF Professional Certified Coach and a Board Certified Coach, so my coaching is built on rigorous, proven models. Before coaching, I spent years in corporate and executive roles, so I understand the pressures, the politics, and the pace of senior work, you will not be explaining your world to me.

Lived Experience

And I have ADHD myself, diagnosed as an adult. I know what it is to perform at a high level while quietly struggling, and I have done the work to turn my own ADHD into an advantage. That is the work I help my clients do.
